This Privacy Policy explains how Lash Atlas collects, uses, processes, and protects information when you use the Lash Atlas mobile application.

By using Lash Atlas, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Account Information

When using Lash Atlas, we may collect:

Locally Stored User Content

Lash Atlas allows users to create and save:

  • Client looks

  • Uploaded or captured photos

  • Lash maps

  • Eye shape analysis results

  • Lash styling preferences

  • Notes and saved client information

This information is stored locally on the user’s device and is not uploaded to or stored on Volashes servers.

Volashes cannot access, retrieve, recover, or view locally stored client looks, photos, lash maps, notes, or saved user content unless voluntarily shared directly by the user.

If the app is deleted, app data is cleared, or the user changes devices, locally stored information may be permanently lost unless otherwise backed up by the user.

Device & Usage Information

We may automatically collect limited technical information such as:

  • Device type

  • Operating system

  • App activity

  • Crash reports

  • Analytics data

  • IP address

This information is used only to maintain app functionality, stability, and security.

App-Owned Content & Infrastructure

Volashes may store app-owned content and infrastructure data required for app functionality, including:

  • Product photos

  • Product links

  • Lash style assets

  • Educational content

  • App configuration data

This content may be hosted using third-party services such as Supabase.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

  • Provide app functionality

  • Analyze eye shapes and lash traits using AI

  • Generate lash style recommendations

  • Display digital lash visualizations and lash maps

  • Improve app performance and user experience

  • Maintain platform security and prevent abuse

  • Provide customer support

We do not use uploaded photos, lash maps, or analysis data for advertising purposes.

We do not sell personal information or uploaded images.

Volashes does not access or use locally stored client looks, saved photos, lash maps, or notes for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. AI & Facial Feature Processing

Lash Atlas uses AI systems to analyze:

  • Eye shape

  • Eye positioning

  • Lash styling suitability

  • Other beauty-related visual traits

By using the app and uploading images, you consent to:

  • Automated image processing

  • AI-generated recommendations

  • Temporary processing of photos to provide app functionality

This processing exists solely to provide user-requested features and styling recommendations.

Saved client looks, uploaded photos, lash maps, styling preferences, and notes remain locally stored on the user’s device and are not stored or accessible by Volashes.

4. Client Photo Consent

If you upload photos of clients or other individuals, you confirm that:

  • You have obtained their consent

  • They understand their photos may be processed by AI systems

  • They consent to the use of their photos within the app

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws and obtaining any necessary permissions before uploading client images.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Volashes does not have access to locally stored client looks, photos, lash maps, or notes saved within the app.

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers that help operate the app, such as:

  • Authentication providers

  • Analytics providers

  • Cloud hosting providers

  • AI processing providers

  • Infrastructure and content delivery providers

These providers may process limited information only as necessary to support app functionality.

Locally stored user content is managed and stored on the user’s own device.

Locally stored user-generated content remains on the user’s device unless deleted by the user.
